We didn't set out to build a cooler. We set out to sell a properly formulated, properly active peptide serum — and ran straight into the same problem every customer eventually hits: where do you actually keep it? The more we looked into it, the clearer it became that the problem is much bigger than skincare. It's the same question anyone managing peptide vials, insulin, steroid prescriptions, or other cold-chain medications runs into.
Not just a skincare problem
Talk to anyone managing injectable peptides, insulin, or a hormone prescription day to day, and storage comes up almost immediately. These aren't things you leave on a bathroom shelf, and the standard advice — "just put it in the fridge" — ignores how a shared kitchen fridge actually behaves: opened dozens of times a day, packed with food, and offering zero privacy if you'd rather your vials weren't sitting next to everyone's lunch. That's true whether what's inside is a cosmetic peptide serum, a vial of research peptide, an insulin pen, or a steroid medication that needs to stay in a stable, cool range. What we looked for before settling on a design
Before landing on the current Precision Cooler, we tested a number of small storage devices already on the market — and found the same shortcomings repeated across most of them: undersized capacity that barely holds more than a couple of items, cooling that drifts once the unit's been running a while instead of holding steady, and power options limited to a single proprietary cable that's useless the moment you're travelling without it. None of that is a minor inconvenience when what's inside is a vial of insulin or a course of injectable medication — inconsistent cooling there isn't just annoying, it's the difference between a product that still works and one that doesn't.

What's actually different about it
Capacity: there's room for roughly 28 small vials' worth of product inside — enough for a genuine personal supply of peptide vials, insulin pens, or prescription medications, not a device that technically qualifies as a "cooler" while barely fitting two items.
Consistency: it holds a stable internal temperature between 1–10°C, adjustable via a touch-sensitive control panel on the lid, and runs quietly enough for continuous day-and-night operation — important for anything on a strict dosing schedule, not just something you reach for occasionally. Power flexibility: it runs on a standard 5V USB power source, which means it works with the charger you already own — a wall adapter, a laptop, a power bank, or a car's USB port — rather than locking you into one proprietary cable. It also ships with two rechargeable batteries and a carry case with strap, so it travels properly if you're away from home and still need reliable cold storage for medication.
Why this matters more than it sounds like
None of this is about specs for their own sake. A peptide vial, an insulin pen, or a steroid medication that isn't stored properly can quietly lose potency long before you'd notice — it looks and smells the same, it just stops working as well, or as reliably.
